Terms of Service for GoodPDF

Welcome to GoodPDF - Reader & Note Taker ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the GoodPDF application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

1. Description of Service

GoodPDF is a mobile application designed for reading PDF documents, taking handwritten notes, drawing, creating annotations, and managing local files on your device.

2. Local Data Processing & Privacy

  • Local Storage: All PDF documents, notes, annotations, and images created or opened within GoodPDF are processed and stored 100% locally on your device.

  • No Cloud Hosting: We do not host, store, or transmit your personal documents or data to external servers.

  • Privacy Policy: Your use of the application is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

3. App Permissions

To function properly, GoodPDF requires certain permissions on your device:

  • Storage / Files Access: Required strictly to allow you to select, open, view, edit, and save PDF files.

  • Photo Library / Camera: Required strictly to let you capture or select images to insert into your notes or documents.

4. User Conduct & Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The content of all PDF files, notes, images, and documents you process or display using GoodPDF.

  • Ensuring that you have the legal rights to open, edit, or manipulate any documents used within the app.

  • Backing up your own data and files. We are not responsible for any loss of data stored on your device.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights related to the GoodPDF application itself (including design, code, graphics, and interface) belong exclusively to us.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or professional purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

GoodPDF is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all file formats.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to loss of data, corrupted files, or device failure.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
