Q1: What is LivePDF?

A: LivePDF is a modern, high-performance mobile application built for reading PDFs, taking handwritten notes, annotating documents, and managing digital notebooks.

Q2: How do I open or import a PDF file?

A:

  1. On the main screen (Documents), tap the + button in the middle of the bottom toolbar.

  2. Tap Select PDF file from device to pick a file stored on your phone.

  3. Or tap Import from URL and paste a direct web link to download and view the PDF immediately.

Q3: How do I create a new digital notebook with custom paper templates?

A: Tap the + button > Select Create Blank Document. Choose from over 13+ paper templates (Blank, Lined, Grid, Dot Grid, Cornell Notes, Weekly/Monthly Planner, Sheet Music, etc.), select your preferred paper size (A4 or Letter), and customize page count.

Q4: How do I insert text, images, or drawings into my document?

A:

  • Drawings & Handwriting: Use the Pen or Highlighter tool on the toolbar to sketch, underline, or take notes directly on the page.

  • Text & Images: Select the Text tool to insert custom text boxes or tap the Image icon to insert photos from your gallery into your notes.

Q5: How does the Automatic Shape Recognition feature work?

A: When using the Pen tool, draw any shape (line, rectangle, circle, ellipse, arrow) and hold the pen tip still for a brief moment at the end point. LivePDF will automatically transform your hand-drawn stroke into a clean, precise geometric shape.

Q6: How do I export and share my annotated PDFs?

A: Open the PDF file Tap the Share icon on the top toolbar (or open the 3-dots menu > Select Share & Export File). You can choose to export the current page or a custom page range with full high-definition quality.

Q7: Is my data secure and private?

A: Yes, 100%! All your PDF files, drawing annotations, inserted images, and handwritten notes are stored strictly on your local device.
